Rob Steele has a very promising career in motorsport.

He first started racing Go Karts at the age of 10, and was soon dicing with some of New Zealands most talented drivers.

He then progressed through the Bridgestone Porsche series (racing a 911 SC) before competing in the 'Battery Town GT3 Series' for the 05/06 season.

The 25 year old quickly turned heads at the first round of the series in ‘05, second in his class for the weekend and gaining the title of the 'Series Young Gun'!. And eventually finishing 3rd in class for the year.

Through the help of his father Ron Steele (long time Bridgestone Porsche campaigner) Rob upgraded to an 04 car for the 06/07 season. Which turned out to be a very turbulent season indeed! But also scoring some of the highest results of Robs career, with an outstanding result at Manfeild, Palmerston Nth starting on Pole for the first time.
